Tomorrow is my wedding day. 💗

In honor of that, I’m telling you the story of how me and my fiancé, Tyler, and I met.

He lived on my friend’s hall freshman year.

The end.

...ok, not really.

He did live on my friend’s hall, but our story didn’t actually start until much later.

Flash forward to 2022:

Tyler: Hey Raven, guess who just got transferred to Atlanta for work?!

Me: OMG no WAY! You’re gonna love it here. How many people do you know besides me?

Tyler: …there’s Josh from my business class junior year, but I haven’t talked to him in a while. Then there’s my friend Alex, but she works like 80 hours a week.

Me: Oh, I’ve got you! Call me when you get here, we’ll do a big hang out with some folks and you'll make fast friends..

Let’s just say, my “Super Connector” tendency landed me in a wedding dress.

I could say this story is about how connecting people is my life’s purpose.

I could say it’s about how many of my wedding guests are people I’ve worked with and stayed in touch with over the years because, for me, work is so much more than getting the job done — It's about enjoying the work you do and who you do it with.

I could even say it’s not about connecting people at all. It’s about finding someone I want to do all the hard things with.

I could say all those things because they’re all true.

But what I’m going to say is…
